This is
still my favorite picture of me. It was taken while I was working the grill at the Cincy Blues Society's
annual summer cookout in
2005.

I've been
designing computer systems since 1983. Conceptual design, high-level design, detailed design, database design, unit
testing, system testing, acceptance testing, implementation and post-implementation monitoring are just a way
of life. I specialize in database administration for IBM's DB2 database for their z/OS operating system,
but am experienced with all other platforms of DB2, as well as SQLserver and Oracle. You'll find a few white papers
I've written on security, database design and Sarbanes-Oxley auditing on this site. If you take the time to read
one or more of them, please send me a note and let me know what you think. I also helped write a Redbook for IBM in
2004 on DB2 performance tuning, but they recently took it out of print...
